This old winery stands at the bottom of the last acclivity before Jerusalem, along the Tel-Aviv Jerusalem highway.
Previously oriented to the production of ritual wines, the winery is entering the booming market of the quality wine.
These wines do not yet show a lot of complexity or overwhelming aromas, but they exceed well the limit of the acceptable and can nicely go with a little dinner of pork as an example. (The supreme paradox for a kosher wine !!!).
Also as italians use to make a first opinion about a "Trattoria" by tasting the "Mezzo Bianco" (ordinary white wine of the restaurant served in a 1/2 liter decanter), the basic table wine of Efrat, "Cabaret", is one of the best proposed locally.
