A family of wine makers who pionered at the end of the 80s with the production of quality wines but later restrained their activity to mass-production, with a certain success actually. Their basic "Segal Ragil" (ordinary) showed often as pretty drinkable.
Since the company was purchased by Barkan, it returned into the top league. Illustrations of this move are the "Merom Galil 1999", unresistible and the impressive single vineyard "Kerem Dishon 2000" beautiful and concentrated and at this stage (December 2003) crying for some aging for opening up.
