DALTON
This was my first experience with a wine from a new born boutique winery when I was proposed to taste the reserved Cabernet of Dalton in the main and historic mall of Tel-Aviv : Dizengoff center. I was amazed by the depth of aromas rich bouquet and velvetty texture of this wine, far different from anyhting else I had experienced from Israel at this time.
The winery grew up well since those times and prefers being refered to as the smallest industrial producer of the country than as a boutique. The reserve has been consistent over the years for the reds and was exceptionaly succesful with Sauvignon Blanc.
Consistency also for the regular "Dalton", while the basic "Canaan" improved to the stage of being one of the best value for money on the market, both for the red and the white.
