These are definitely not the best wines I ever had in my life, but the particular location of this winery is worth giving to it these few lines.
The Cremisan wines are made by the monks of the monastery located at the limit between Betlehem and the Jerusalem jewish quarter of Gilo. Betlehem is nowadays part of the "A" territories, territories under the full control of the Palestinian Authority.
The deplorable events which started by october 2000 have turned this area into one of the hot spots of the region, I'm not talking about the climate.
The area of Cremisan-Bet Jala is warmly recommanded by the department of tourism of the Palestinian Authority. I hope the evolution of the evnts will give me the occasion to profit of what is proposed there, nowadays it looks definitely a little too dangerous...
